Hey, I’m Ryan, I’m a freelance photographer and photo editor currently based in Los Angeles and Seattle.

Most recently I worked for the Associated Press as a photojournalist based in Detroit. Previously I interned at the Associated Press in Los Angeles, the Deseret News in Salt Lake City, and MLive in Ann Arbor. While I work primarily in sports now, my foundation is in photojournalism, and I am fully equipped with PPE and fire gear. I’ve been lucky enough to cover a variety of events, ranging from the U.S Women’s Open and most professional sporting leagues, to overnight campus protests at UCLA and USC and California wildfires.

Outside of my work, I love food, a subject which you will find me posting a lot about on any of my social medias, as well as music, and art. Hit me up if you want to talk shop, or just to have a conversation!
